FBI Arrests CEO Who Threatened Securities Officials
According to the SEC report, Vincent McCrudden, CEO of Alnbri Management LLC, posted an execution list on his firm’s website, offering a $100,000 reward for home addresses, phone numbers and other information for people named on the list. He posted “These people have got to go! And I need your help, there are just too many for me alone.” A 20 year veteran of Wall Street and a survivor of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, McCrudden said the 47 people should be “exposed for corruption and fired.” Included on the list were SEC Chairman Mary Schapiro and FINRA head Richard Ketchum.
He was arrested by the FBI after arriving at the Newark International Airport on a flight from Singapore. He was charged with threatening 47 officials with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, as well as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), according to reports by the Investment News and NBC.com.
